This page explains what personal information SunFlow Heated Driveways collects through sunflowheateddriveways.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. SunFlow Heated Driveways is based in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. We handle personal information in line with Canada's federal privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect through the quote form

When you ask for a quote, the form asks for:

• your name
• how to reach you (email address and/or phone number)
• your address and details about your project

We use this information to reply to you, prepare your quote, book a site visit if you want one, and follow up about that quote. We do not sell it. Service providers store and deliver form requests on our behalf. Your request is stored on a server in the United Kingdom, and an email delivery service, which may process it in the United States, sends it to our sales team at sales@sunflowheateddriveways.com. That mailbox is hosted by Google, which may store email outside Canada. While your information is outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of the country where it is held and may be accessed by its courts, law enforcement and national security authorities.

We will only send you marketing emails or texts if you have agreed to receive them, and every one will include a way to unsubscribe.

Cookies and the Meta pixel

This site uses the Meta pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc. (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It helps us measure how well our ads work and show our ads to people who may be interested in heated driveways.

The pixel uses cookies and similar technology. When you visit a page, it tells Meta that the page was viewed. When you submit the quote form, it tells Meta that a quote request was made. Meta can receive technical details along with these events, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page you were on, and, if you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, a link to that account. Meta handles this information under its own privacy policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy). Meta may process it outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to the laws of that country.

How to opt out

You can limit or stop this tracking in several ways:

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site and the quote form still work without them.
• Change how Meta uses your activity for ads at facebook.com/adpreferences, or in the Settings menu of the Facebook or Instagram app.
• Opt out of interest based ads from participating companies at youradchoices.ca, run by the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada.

You can also withdraw your consent to our use of your quote information at any time by emailing us. We will stop using it, except where we need to keep a record for legal or accounting reasons.

How long we keep your information

We keep quote requests only as long as we need them to respond to you and to meet our legal obligations. If you become a customer, we keep your project and billing records only as long as we need them for warranty, tax and legal purposes.

How we protect it

We limit access to the people who need it to answer your request and use reasonable security measures to protect it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
